Health & Physical Education
The courses provided through the physical education department present a holistic approach to health and provide the student with the opportunity to develop skills physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and recreationally.
All physical education majors, veterans included, are to complete four courses of physical education activities. Veterans who are not kinesiology physical education majors will receive physical education credit for their military service. The department promotes an overall wellness environment for all students and employees. The department provides some services to the community.
Special Requirements: A kinesiology physical education degree candidate must be proficient in one team sport and one individual or dual sport. Proficiency is determined by course grades and instructor evaluation.
